Fresh Air by Vollara

    Fresh Air by Vollara is an active technology air purifier designed to treat odors and bacteria.  Other passive technology units filter air that must somehow be brought through the unit, whereas the Fresh Air purifier duplicates the power of both sunlight and thunderstorms to remove air pollution through RCI (Radiant Catalytic Ionization).  Our tightly-sealed homes contain many highly allergenic products in carpets, cleaners, etc., that cause unsafe indoor pollution.   Using technology developed by NASA, these dangerous pollutants can be easily and safely removed using Fresh Air.  Our air purifiers are the only ones recognized as a Certified Space Technology by the Certified Space Program, which was started by the Space Foundation (www.spacefoundation.org) and NASA.

    In tests conducted by James Marsden at Kansas State University, Vollara air purifiers killed 99.9% of bacteria, surface mold, and viruses, including E.Coli, Listeria monocytogens, Streptococcus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bocillus spp., Methycillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aereus (MRSA), Avian Bird Flu, and more.

    The U.S. Department of Agriculture found the Fresh Air system removed more contaminating bacteria from stainless steel surfaces during a shorter exposure time than the usual ozone-based systems.

    Dr. Sergey Grinshpun at the University of Cincinatti found that by using Fresh Air, 90% of airborne microorganisms (including the MS2 virus and B. Subtilius - a surrogate for Anthrax) were rendered harmless in less than 60 minutes.
